HEALTH & WELLNESS:
Ask a nurse, doctor, or well-known athlete to come to school and talk to the students about good nutrition. This can be the school nurse, a parent volunteer, a local pediatrician office, or a local athlete. Similarly, ask a dentist to come and speak about oral hygiene. The benefit to the pediatrician or dentist office is that they will have an opportunity to distribute their literature to the families.
