Air Force Association: Each school year, the Association awards grants of up to $250 to worthy projects that significantly influence student learning. The Association will accept grant applications beginning August 10, 2009. Grant deadline is 4pm (Pacific Time) on Friday, November 13, 2009.

BestBuy Children's Foundation : Our goal is to provide positive experiences that will help youth excel in school, engage in their communities, and develop leadership skills. Grant applications are accepted May 15-June 15.

Build A Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation : Grants are made to public charities in the United States and Canada for specific programs with measurable outcomes that support children's health and wellness, domestic pets, and literacy and education.

The Boston Foundation

Bright Green Dream: Lutron Greenovation invites you to take a good look at your entire school—from the classroom to the science lab to the lunchroom and beyond—and tell us your big, bright ideas for improving energy efficiency. The winning entry in the Bright Green Dream School Sustainability Challenge will receive a $15,000 sustainable classroom upgrade, to be installed in your school later this year.

Citi Foundation

Dupont Office of Education: K-16 Education - works with educators, university faculty, the business community and local DuPont sites to prepare today's children for tomorrow's world. Our goal is to ensure that the next generation of citizens has a working knowledge of the unique method of science and a reasoned understanding of science as a domain of human knowledge.

Kinder Morgan: Supporting non-profit youth programs that focus on education, the arts and the environment. Application deadlines are the 10th of every other month beginning in January

Lawrence Foundation A private family foundation focused on making grants to support environmental, education, human services and other causes.

Lego Children's Fund : The LEGO Group is committed to helping children develop their creativity and learning skills through constructive play.

Liberty Mutual's Responsible Sports: The program helps provide precious financial resources – $2,500 grants – in recognition of local dedication to responsibility in communities across the country.

Lowe's Toolbox for Education : Lowe’s will donate $5 million to public schools and public school parent teacher groups - at more than 1,000 different public schools per school year.

Mass Cultural Council : Grants supporting the cultural arts.

McDonalds: Click on the "Calling All Teachers" link to learn about the educational opportunities McDonald’s offers in your area. Registering will ensure that you are notified of programs, deadlines, online registration forms, given resources to share and many other items to help.

National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH): The We the People Bookshelf, a collection of classic books for young readers, is a project of the NEH. NEH identifies a theme important to the nation's heritage and selects books that embody that theme to build the Bookshelf. A total of 4,000 public and school (K-12) libraries will be selected. Awards will be announced in April 2010.

National Education Association : Lists several grant opportunities.

Pepsi Refresh Project Pepsi is giving away millions in grants each month to fund your great ideas. Submit your own project or vote for other's. Visit RefreshEverything.com.

Play With Your Produce Classroom Challenge : promote school-based health and wellness. Challenge teachers to have fun, be creative and teach kids the benefits of healthy eating with more fruits and vegetables. Enter by November 13, 2009.

Rite Aid Foundation : Funding opportunities for programs that focus on health and wellness in the communities in which Rite Aid operates.

Target Grants

Target Field Trip Grants: Education professionals who are at least 18 years old and employed by an accredited K-12 public, private or charter school in the United States that maintains a 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1) tax-exempt status are eligible to apply. Educators, teachers, principals, paraprofessionals or classified staff of these institutions must be willing to plan and execute a field trip that will provide a demonstrable learning experience for students.

Teachers Network : Lists several grants, scholarships, & contests for teachers & students.

Toyota Tapestry Grants for Science Teachers : For K–12 science teachers for innovative projects that enhance science education in the school and/or school district. Fifty large grants and a minimum of 20 mini-grants, totaling $550,000 in all.
